We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of auto racing.  Must have the ability to enunciate, read fluently, inform, and entertain.  Announcers commentate events, awards presentations, interview sponsors, racers and fans, and promote upcoming events and on-site sales.

Officiates the races with the assistance of corner spotters. Cannot be affiliated with any drivers in the event they are working.  Does have the authority to disqualify drivers for situations described in the Big Country Speedway Rulebook.

Must have extensive knowledge of all racing rules and be able to enforce in a fair and ethical manner.

Helps the Head Flagman determine when calls must be made on the track. Watch the race and give input and feedback when necessary. Operate track lights to communicate to drivers green/caution/red event status.  Cannot be affiliated with any drivers in the event they are working.

Operate the scoring computer in the tower.  Communicate with Officials as needed for racing line-up's.

Record and maintain race event driver sign in.  

Coordinates with the Flagman, track management and tower to send cars out to the racetrack. Facilitate rental of transponders.

Upbeat personality and good customer service skills a must.

Technical Inspection.  We are looking for people who love cars and have extensive automotive knowledge.  Applicants must be 21 years or older.  Duties include inspecting racer’s vehicles, registering racers, answering technical questions and clean-up.  

Track crews handle cleanup and restore the racing surface before the green flag falls again.

We have positions available in our Security Department for applicants 18 years of age or older.  Duties include manning gates, parking, crowd security and pit patrol.

We have positions available for applicants that are 16 years or older that are people-friendly.  Duties include cashiering, ticket scanning, hand-stamping and clean-up.  Cash handling and smart phone for ticket scanning is helpful.

Provide Photograph and or video services for all Speedway Events.  Provide to racers and fans the opportunity to purchase photo/video products to include merchandise items as demand requires.

Provide upon request photo/video to track management as needed for marketing purposes.

We have positions available in our Food Service/Concessions area. Duties include the preparation and serving of food and beverages, cashiering, and clean-up.  Applicants should be 16 years or older.

Beer Garden Server, you will pour and serve beer to our patrons while providing exceptional customer service and knowledge of our products. It also requires cash-handling and the set-up and break-down of the work area. 

Must be Tips Trained and certification must be current.

Must be 21 years of age. 

Provide maintenance services to the Speedway.  

Good carpentry skills a must, electrical skills a plus, licensed equipment operator a plus.
