Big Country Speedway Rule Book Revisions - June 5, 2017


We have made the following revisions to our 2017 Racing Rules at Big Country Speedway.

Revisions:

General Rules: 1.20 POST RACE TECH 1.20.1 Top three (3) finishers plus one (1) mystery car will be scaled and tech’d after the main event unless otherwise directed by a track official. Anyone refusing to scale or tech will be disqualified from the night’s events. Anyone stopping on their way to the scales from the main events will be disqualified and lose points and money for the night. No cars will be allowed to return to their pits after being scaled before the main event. 1.20.1a FAILING TECH During a Track tech inspection if car is found illegal points and winnings for that race will be forfeited. 1.20.1b In order to return, any car refusing to Tech or disqualified, must submit to and pass a complete inspection by the track tech upon returning to a scheduled race event and before the car will be allowed to compete. 1.20.1c Three Strike Rule: Refusal to Tech on the same part/area of the car three times will result in disqualification from racing at BCS for the remainder of the season.

1.21.20 Three Strike Rule: Refusal to Tech or a tear down on the same part/area of the car three times will result in disqualification from racing at BCS for the remainder of the season.

Super Stocks

2.8.6 Maximum valve size allowed 2.02. 2.14.2 Stock distributor system, stock coil and stock module in stock locations. Any size plug wire allowed. 2.25 WEIGHT: Car weight with driver must be a minimum of 3450 lbs. with stock manifold -OR- 3500 lbs with headers. Post race – weight must be posted on the passenger side front corner of the roof.

2.25.1 Maximum left side weight is 56% with driver post race.

Pure Stocks 3.16 WEIGHT: Minimum weight requirement is 3500 lbs post race. Weight must be posted on the passenger side front corner of the roof.

Grand American Modified

5.3 WEIGHT RULES WITH DRIVER POST RACE: 2500 lbs. minimum and must be posted on the passenger side corner of the roof. 5.3.1 Maximum left side weight-56% with driver post race.

Late Models 6.3.1 Minimum Weight rule is 2800 lbs, 2850 lbs with aluminum heads or dry sump and 2900 lbs with both aluminum heads and dry sump. Post race, weight must be posted on the passenger side front corner of the roof.

Warriors 7.1.3 Minimum weight is 2100 lbs with driver. Post race weight must be posted on the passenger side corner of the roof. 7.6.4 Tire must have at least 2/32nds of tread remaining in at least two grooves pre-race. 7.6.11 Tire/wheel combo must be the same size and offset. The profile (sidewall) may be one size different. 7.6.11a Example, right side tires might be P205/65R15 while left side tires might be P195/65R15

Vintage Late Models 8.3.1 Minimum Weight: 2800 lbs. Post race weight must be posted on the passenger side front corner of the roof.
